Question Kenwood DNX5120 or Pioneer AVIC-D3

I have a 97 F150 EXT with stock radio. My concern is that if any of those (Kenwood DNX5120 or PIioneer AVIC-D3) are going to fit in it instead of the stock one, and if the installation is hard or easy? and which one would you advise me to choose, keeping in mind that I get get the Pioneer for more than $100 cheaper than the kenwood.

I would go with the kenwood, but see if you can find a mounting kit for the double din headunit first.

Hey Ty, thanks for the help so far, but I'm kind of confused, so far I have found those 2:

and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. btw, why did you choose the Kenwood over the Pioneer?

From what I can tell those are both single DIN kits, you will need a double DIN kit.

I recently ordered myself the D3 so you know what my vote is. As far as getting it into your truck, take a look at this link, it should help you out. Good luck.

That bracket seems like a rather small hurdle to overcome.

The bracket supports the front edge of the dash, and there is also the tapered dash support behind it that you will put up quite a fight.
