Volume level changes when I start truck
Unrelated to a previous problem I had with my tweeter distortion which turned out to be a source problem and was actually an easy fix.
New problem with my Pioneer GM-D1004 mini amp wired in using high level is when I put the key in the stereo volume is almost super amplified. When I start the truck it reverts back to what I would consider is normal and remains that way for the duration of any drive. After the ignition is cycled on and off after a drive it doesn't do this. It would seem after all the electronics go to sleep for a while this happens.
I have tried switching to low level and while it no longer does this, my max volume is significantly hindered as in not loud enough.
It doesn't negatively effect the sound in any way during normal operation, but it is super annoying with my OCD in "how things should work"
Any insight why this would happen?

The amp functions without the use of RCAs and is capable of high or low level input. It is hard wired in with no RCAs. I switched to low level using forscan.
