The reason the static stops after unplugging the harness is because there is no longer a signal going to the processor or amp...wait, how are you able to listen to the OEM HU when you unplug the harness? Where do you unplug it from that the OEM HU still works?

I cant, but I get static even if I turn off the the factory radio which means the processor isnt seeing a signal. The parrot harness is a Y. There is a plug on it that has just speaker wires. So u can leave the head unit plugged up and powered up and your just unhooking the feed going to the processor and coming from the amps. Keep in mind my tweets have their on speaker wire going to the amp.

You aren't saying that there is still sound from the HU when you unplug the Parrot going to your processor/amps are you? The Parrot is meant to be a simple way to insert an amp into the wiring. You shouldn't have any sound if the Parrot is unplugged.

THIS!!!!! LOL the harness need to be cut so that when it is installed, one side is attached to the processor and the other side connected to the speed wire from the amps. If this has NOT been done THIS IS why your having issues...lol Ahhh Christopher.

Right, when I unplug the parrot harness there is no music. But I loose the static too. The static doesnt affect the music once I turn it up, I get no engine nose. But as long as the parrot harness is plugged in and the high level input plug is plugged into the 363 I get static if the key is in the acc. or running. But the static stay on even if I turn off the stock head unit.

Try plugging in an aux device into your amp directly (ipod). If you still here the noise it is more likely a grounding issue.

I am going through the same thing right now. I just need to find a better ground location.

I grounded to the factory bolt on the wall behind the bad seat where the other grounds are. Just seems odd that it goes away when I unplug the input to the processor.

You are essentially breaking the circuit when you unplug the input. Try plugging in the aux device into the same inputs it will tell you right away where the problem lies.

What are you using as your turn on? Remote or signal sense?
