Default It's Alive!!

After a year in my truck I couldn't take it anymore. I needed some form of bass. I knew I didn't want what I had in my last truck which was 2 12s, so I decided to wait. The wait paid off, I fell in to 2 10in JL audio 10w1v2-8 power range 300 RMS peak power 600 watts, bought from my buddy for 100 bucks. He also gave me the box with it which was a dual box. Knowing I did not want 2 subs, and the box wouldn't fit in my truck I sold the box for 80, and the other sub for 80. I already had the amp JBL Grand Touring amp GT0601.1ii 424 watts RMS x1 at 4ohms, and had the wires. I bought a box off Amazon for around 40 bucks that's with shipping. It's a Goldwood TR10F single box. Specs are 3/4" MDF and glued air tight, Dimensions: 15" H x 19" W x 7-1/4" (5-1/2" Top) D. Approximately 0.7 cu. ft. The sound that now comes out is AMAZING, and I feel like I'm back in my old truck again because the 1 10 hits just as hard if not harder than my 2 12s in my old truck. Kept the stock HU bass is all the way down and bass boost is all the way down on the amp, and this thing still tears it up. 100 times better!! The box does stick out a little from the seat, but nothing I can't live with. Of course I have pics for you guys.

Congrats man! Can never go wrong with JL's. I had two W1s in my old 92 chevy and those things hit like crazy with a memphis amp. Been debating about getting a single W1 or W3

Ya..It's not that bad to me. This box is just holding me over until I get the materials to build a custom box.

Itd be perfect to just lengthen it horizontally and cut off that few inches vertically.
