Default Interfire amps???

I'm going to be getting some 12in fosgate prime shallow mounts. They're rated about 250watts rms. The guy at our local shop recommened a 1000watt 5 channel Interfire amp so it can push my Infinity Kappas that I have in my doors. Thing is I've never heard of Interfire. Read some reviews and it seems to be a hit or miss.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

Why not two(2) full sized 10's and that amp?? Not knocking shallows but you'd get your money worth out of the full size.. Fox Acoustic and possibly two(2) other box makers will hold 2 10's under our seats.. I have the Fox box with two RE Audio 10's... I'm more than satisfied..

I've only heard speakers in cars and not in a truck with the subs under the seat. I know that 10's in a cars trunk dont satisfy me so I wouldnt know how optimistic to be with some in a truck.

Youtube your P3 12's in a F150... From the shallows i've heard in F150's I wasn't impressed... What sound are you looking for? Your P3's could be that sound.. I wanted deep bass and the luxury of having the power at the turn of a ****..

10's can get pretty LOUD...

I do want deep bass. Not 15in sub type of bass, but like the type of bass that is...flexable. I listen to mainly r&b music but some of that music has some deep bass notes that I want to hear. I also listen to some rap, not alot.

I would mainly be hearing my music with the windows closed and at a decent level, but sometimes I'd like to flex the system's muscles, if you know what I mean.

I went with the shallows because that's what was recommended to me by the shop.

Layaway plan. So I still have the option to change my products around.

You getting a new interfere amp or a old model?? I know the old ones were pretty tough.. Under rated power.. 1500w was actually 1800w... Very powerful amp... You are good to go with... The new ones should be the same...

Look at the Pioneer ibFlats - the best shallow mount available for the $. There are better but either 2x the money (Alpine) or unavailable (Stereo Integrity). I have three of the Pioneer 12's in my '11 screw and play everything from classical to dubsteb and they sound great and dig deep when needed.

Did some reviews on these. Think I'm gonna give them a try.
