Default Amp dying?

I have an alpine pdx v-9 and the 3rd channel is not working/playing very weakly. I have made sure it was just the channel and not the speaker by swapping the plugs from the other speakers and it puts out very very little sound if any. Anyone know what could cause this?

Swap your RCA cables. If the problem stays on the same speaker you have a problem with the amp. If it moves you have a problem upstream somewhere

Where do you have it mounted? If it's behind rear seats check it for water damage. Could be a leak from 3rd brake light. That's how I lost a channel on my kicker 2 channel amp.
