I am going to reverse mount the speakers. I went for this look because i felt the it was a smoother look...
I have a ton of sanding to do and still need to get the other pod started. Not sure ill be keeping the tweeter pods because they are kind of big. I might fabricate the tweets right into the sail panel.
Sorry its taken so long to post. I was working out of town and didnt have time to mess with this project.

Thanks guys. So far, it's been fun to do. I might offer to build them for members in this forum. IF they turn out the way I want them to.
As far as painting them. I'm going with a gloss black. I don't have a paint booth so I'll have to take them to a local shop. I hate to do it but automotive grade paint is the only thing I want to use. I'll be painting the front only. No reason to add thickness to an already tight fit in the back and sides.
They fit do tight that I though about not mounting them with nuts and bolts but I decided that it's better safe then sorry.
