I considered having a local shop here install mine. I just dropped my truck off to have a remote start installed and asked them to quote me to install the kicker system as well. They quoted me $330. As much as I am not looking forward to installing it myself, I decided not to have them do it.

Ok so I've been tacking this install. I followed beaus instructions and got everything hooked up. I have not installed the door speakers yet so the factory speakers are still in. After hooking up all the connections for the sub and amp, I wanted to test it before I moved on to the speakers... I have no sound. I can control all the radio functions just fine. Just don't have any sound. Any ideas???

Lmao! That actually made me laugh. I don't **** it up. I wanted to test the sub before installing the speakers. In doing so I didn't read all the way to the end of Beau's instructions... The fuses weren't in the wires that provided power Putting all the panels back on now

Funny, just yesterday I was at Rogel Ford and Beau told me the most common thing people call him for ends up being fuses, since the fuses come in the bag with the zip ties.

Fnally getting a chance to post. Had to go to the store and cook dinner after the installation. It really was super easy... Tedious but easy. Other than my little confusion and a couple minor issues it only took about 5 hours. My driver side rear speaker is not working but must be an issue with the existing wire harness because I plugged in the old factory speaker and it still didn't work. Guess I will have a local audio shop check it out. The hardest part was taking the plate off that hides the bolt behind the door handle. That was pissing me off!

This sounds 100 times better than I ever expected! Im extremely happy with this system!
