Just a clarification question. When installing into a supercab I see that the jack has to be relocated to passenger side since the sub box installs in the drivers side. But does the wire harness still get routed to the passenger side and up the door sill? Also before attempting to install the new speakers, do the door panels for the rear of the supercab come off the same as the front? Thank you.

Got mine Friday. Installed it yesterday and it sounds great. The hardest part of the install is getting the wire through the passenger side grommet. I finally quit trying to reach up and grab the wires from inside on the floorboard and used a rod to push the wires through. Made it way easier. Thanks for the write up!!

Default Kicker stereo upgrade

Alot of people have been skipping out on the nutserts included with the kit and just running bolts and nuts to secure the sub. If this were my personal truck, I would do the same. But since it is not, I am going to use the nutsert tool at the dealership tomorrow.

This system just flat out ROCKS. All of my customers have been very satisfied with the Kicker upgrade kit. If you have any questions or would like to order one, call me at 601-892-3673. As of now, they are $399 shipped anywhere in the continental US. The kit retails for $1223 from Ford, so I have a HELL of a deal for the forum members.
Do you still have any of these Kicker Upgrade systems available? I just purchased a 2015 F-150 Lariat. Looking to improve the stereo, but have been reading on the forums that you have to use the Sony amp in order to still use the sync system and with the lariats they use the speakers to create fake exhaust noise. Does this Kicker upgrade interfere with these?

My 2012 has the A pillar tweeters, anything I need to be aware of before my install this weekend? Do they stay connected after the upgrade, or are they eliminated?

They stay connected. They don't interfere with the system upgrade.

Ugh, need some help. I think I have the wrong parts... My radio won't plug into this harness.... Did I get the wrong kit?

I had the same problem. I have a 2013 with my touch, but no sony system. The harness behind HU had some sort of sliding clip on it. Any ideas? Everything else went along smoothly up till then.
