Ziptie the Kicker wiring harness along the existing harness underneath the drivers side dash. Let the slack hang over by the hood release.

Use the two supplied power cables and run them from under the hood to the cab. Open the fuse cover, undo the nut on the accessory power wire, slide on the two Kicker power cables, and tighten it back down.

Now route the cable along the existing harness towards the passenger side rubber grommet entering the cab.

Cut off the two clips that are ziptied near the end of the cables. You will connect these once they are inside the cab.

I used a pocket knife and cut an X in the rubber and pushed the wires through. From inside the cab, you will have to squeeze your arm pretty tight into the dash and feel around for the grommet. Now pull the wires through until all of the slack is out.

Attach the two clips to the wire ends. You will hear the wires 'click' into place.

Pull the scuff plates from front and rear on passenger side, and from the front on the drivers side. Also pull the kick panel covers from both sides as well. And space off the lower half of the b pillar plastic on the passenger side so you can run the sub harness from back to front.

Place the sub box in its spot in the rear so you can get a visual of where the harness needs to come out of the carpet. Now move the box out of the way and make a 2 inch incision. Run the harnesses under the carpet from the kick panel and out of the slit you just cut. Now run the other end of the harness along the factory harness all the way to front of cab. Route the cable under the dash and over to the drivers side.

Hook up the subwoofer ground to the bolt at the bottom of the center stack radio on the passenger side.

Hook up the other ground cable below the drivers side dash (after removing the plastic panel of course).

Take off the nut on the bottom left bolt, under the drivers side dash. Now take off the screw holding on the parking brake release handle.

Plug the harnesses from the Kicker wiring harness into the Kicker DSP 4 Channel amp. The amp brackets fit nicely onto the bolt and over the missing screw by the parking brake release.

Now for the Kicker Coaxial speakers.. Front doors you have to remove the two screws from the very bottom of the door panel. Pop off the plastic covers behind the door handle and down in the grab handle. Then remove those two bolts.

Pop out the switch panel and disconnect those switches.

Lift the door panel up and away from the door. Don't forget to disconnect the power mirror harness.

I chose to just sit the panel on a stool while I swapped speakers. This is to avoid disassembling the cables that are attached to the door handle.

The factory speakers come out, the Kicker coaxials go in, plug and play.

On the rear door panels, you will have to pop off the upper trim piece and remove those screws along with all the others.

And after reassembling everything, insert the two supplied fuses in the power wires we ran under the hood. Reconnect the battery cable, make sure the airbag light turns off on the dash, and you are good to go.

Alot of people have been skipping out on the nutserts included with the kit and just running bolts and nuts to secure the sub. If this were my personal truck, I would do the same. But since it is not, I am going to use the nutsert tool at the dealership tomorrow.

This system just flat out ROCKS. All of my customers have been very satisfied with the Kicker upgrade kit. If you have any questions or would like to order one, call me at 601-892-3673. As of now, they are $399 shipped anywhere in the continental US. The kit retails for $1223 from Ford, so I have a HELL of a deal for the forum members.
