Default Install Help PLEASE!!!!

I have been looking everywhere for information on installing an amp and sub in my truck. I want to keep my stock head unit so that i can retain sync and steering wheel functions. All i need to know is what I need to do to run the rca cables and the remote wire from my head unit to my amp. Thanks in advance!

Search "2010 f-150 amplifier install part one" on YouTube there's also a part 2 under related videos. If u have a YouTube account talk to that guy. And watch the videos of coarse.

I have never replied in this fashion, but u couldn't have done much searching. Its a challenge to type " f150 amp install" and not find gobs of tutorials. You may be better off taking it to a stereo shop.

If you insist on doing it yourself, order a PAC MSFRD-24. It is a hi-low converter that will convert your factory stereo to RCA. Cheap, quality, and very simple install.

Thanks bud, after about 5 hours of searching 3 forums, google, and youtube, I did finally find an answer. Unfortunately, the words in my mind don't always bring up the search results that you want, especially in a forum where the search function is quite rudimentary. I don't appreciate you making assumptions and telling me that "its a challenge to type." No shat its easy to search for something, it's a lot easier than starting a new thread, hence why I spend a pretty good portion of my day looking for an answer, and finally making a thread as a last resort.

On another note, thank you for the info on the PAC, that is the route I'm gunna go.

You can pick up a LOC (line ouput converter) at Radio Shack or Walmart for around 10 bucks. It just converts your speaker level inputs to low level.
