Default Install help

i have a 1998 lariat. i am trying 2 install an aftermaket head unit. i wired everything up, and im pretty sure i did everything right but it still wont work. but there is a 6 disk cd changer in the back, would that have something 2 do with the new unit not working? any advice on how to get my radio working would be greatly appreciated

Pull it out and rewire it, maybe some of it wasnt connected right. I know sometimes wiring harness's can be a little finnicky.

In that case the only thing i can think of is the wiring being off, but then again i've been wrong before.
