Just checked DC's site and the 1.2k has the same fuse ratings as the AQ, so the max output numbers cannot exceed 1728 peak rms for either one.

Both manufactures rate the following amps at 14.4 volts. And i'm willing to bet they are a tad bit over-rated in power. The price kind of gives that away, along with the 120 amp fuse rating on the AQ.

So mathematically; FOR PEAK OUTPUT=which is what fuses are rated for
Amps=watts/volts equivalenty Watts = Amps x Volts

Then assume the AQ is pulling the max 120amps(the max rating).
We have;
120= (supposed watts)/14.4
AQ= 1728 PEAK wattage.

Rockford T1000 (rated 200 watts lower than the AQ) but 150 amp fuse
150= x/14.4
T1000 = 2160 peak.

Moreover, the lower rated Rockford probably ouputs more continuous power and peak power than the AQ. If you would like I can do the DC as well.

Not trying to sway your opinions, just trying to help you find the best suitable amp for your application.
Never said they weren't true power? Idk where u got that from.
And yeah if you look at ther spec sheets that have rating for lower voltage. And there rating and very very conservative.

That's why I say look at the DB drive.
Easy on the wallet. And it's a damn good amp.

No problem. It is a good bit of money, but you get what you pay for. I wasnt trying to imply the other two are bad amps. Just not on the level of some of the other high powered amps.
