I want to get Navigation
Ok so my car got broke into and they stole my in dash DVD player, so I figured this is as good of a time as any to upgrade.
What I want it to be able to do is
Ipod
DVD(when the car is moving)
CD(while still using the map) from my understanding some systems use a disc in the system.
What is the best system out there?
What are some things that I should look out for?
What systems do you guys have and what do you like/not like about them.
Also can a 2009 OEM system do this? I really like the OEM look.

no, the oem will not play dvd's while you are moving, there is no way to mod it to do so with a nifty thing called a gyroscope, these past few years kenwood's navigation has been top of the line!! no doubt about it, of all the units alpine is my favorate for ipod controlling but kenwood does good as whell, and for the cd while playing kenwood is the best, it uses a hard drive system to store its navigation so no disc's, and assuming your not a bass race competior (like i am) you wont have to worry about frying your hard drive with high db levels

Well After looking at my wiring harness it seems that I only have the one connector.
I guess the 04 models are different.
I am thinking about getting a Kenwood DNX7120 or DNX8120
What do you guys think about those units? Any other suggestions for NAV with a kinda OEM look?

Logan First off thanks for all your input
Do you know if the 7120 will work with a USB hub? It only has a single usb input and it would be used for my Ipod.
If I could use a nonpowerd hub I could also connect a usb drive.
Thanks again.

for kenwood's connectivity with the ipod you should use the kca-ip200 it allows you to take advantage of all the features of the ipod and deck, that deck itself is very very good, i had one when it first came out and loved everything except the way the buttons felt!! you can go to your local office supply store and get a usb extender, a usb in and 2 usb out type deal, there cheap and it would work for you...just make sure you have 1 on at a time or else it can mess up the input
