how well does the bazooka tube fit under the seat?
I am looking at buying a dirt cheap bazooka tube, but I want to make sure its going to fit under the seat. i havent seen a bazooka tube in years, so I dont remember how big they really are. I also want this because I hope it should have a nice sutble sound, and not over powering. I have an 04 supercab, and want to fit it under the seat. Will it work?

your rear seat has aprox 6 1/2" under the rear seat from finished floor to underside of seat. as long as those dimensions work. you may also consider using a stealth box that fits for a single ten under drivers side rear seat (first two thirds of seat) or a full box for 2 10" subs. They fit under the seat w/out the requirements of getting a seat lift. Check out joe_fox's website, he builds custom boxes for f150 rear seats - seem good and reasonably priced foxaccoustics.com or something like that - google brings it up anyways. But i would consider that and you don't even need to go crazy priced subs or any of that if your looking for just a little thump. check out crutchfield.com, i've seen single 10" stealth boxes for as low as 44 bucks,

I don't think you will like the bump from a Bazooka... after having reg. subs in my car and then trying to hook a Bazooka up in my truck, move onto a ten inch in a box with its own Amp and RCAs.
Even though the Bazooka has adjustable bass, when you turned it up, you got the normal speaker music/sounds through the tube. The way they are wired is they use a hot and ground, and a hot and neg. on your speaker wire. An Amp uses a hot and ground, and a pair of RCAs.
Get what I am trying to say here? It's hard to explain... The sound will be much cleaner and the bump will be much better with a traditional system instead of an all in one.

yea I understand. I havent heard a bazooka in a long time, so i couldnt remember. I had a ten inch sub in my 99, and I ended up putting a seat lift in to make the sub box fit. I dont want to have to do that this time. I will check out some places for boxes.
