Perfect, then it should be as simple as installing a line out converter on the speaker wire coming off the stock amp

You could also buy an amp that has speaker level inputs. Most are signal-sensing so you wouldnt even have to run a remote wire. Look for "high level inputs" in the stats on amps you look at for that feature. I know my Kenwood sub amp has them
