Ya I was was just reading about the two systems because I couldn't find any difference at first. The more expensive one seems over priced for only adding a 200watt amp to the package. The less expensive one seems to be more what I am looking for. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Prefab box + sundown sd2 10 inch sub + 500w mono amp. Gonna sound better than that kicker stuff for under $400

Do you have a factory sub? If so, is the amp built into the sub?

Can you just replace the factory sub with new aftermarket amp and sub box? would I have to rewire for it to work?

You can replace the sub. Thats why I asked earlier if the amp is built into the box or seperate. The answer to that question affects how the wiring works

Ya the amp is built in to the Sony sub which is the factory system I think because I can't see an amp any where under the rear seat.

you can replace the stock sub/amp with your own. just need to run the wires. not sure of RCA behind the HU or how the stock speakers are ran? if they're ran through the stock sony system or straight to the HU?

my option, just replacing the stock door speakers.
