Cool. How big an amp should I need to run 4 6.5 speakers for the doors? And those should be amped right for a fuller cleaner sound?

What is the rms wattage? Shoot for 15-20 watts rms over your speaker.

Over powering them is way better than under powering

Amping will make them sound the best, but if you are getting an aftermarket HU you can try to run them off that and if you are not happy with the sound you can amp them afterwards

http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/produ...nent-speakers/ for the 6.5

Looks like 50/100 RMS so x4 speakers, I would want a amp running minimum 300 watts or so for the 6.5 speakers? Assuming you base the ratings off the non peak RMS number? I will be doing the head unit later but that's gonna be a while down the road.

Yes, ideally 300, but if it were me I would just do the alpine ktp445u. That's about 50 watts rms. and it's easy to hide.

Do a memphis M Class mc3004 or what ever they have changed the model number to. But honestly, 35-50 watts on PR speakers will be best!

Thanks for all the feedback. Decided I'm gonna wait to do the stereo until I pay the truck off and have that be my happy pay off truck present to myself but will def be doing Memphis gear in it. Stay tuned for about three months and I'll put up what I end up doing. :-)
