Default Hertz speakers/added sub to RCSB

Well, today I had the stock speakers upgraded to Hertz speakers and I had a Bazooka powered sub installed in the small space behind the seats. The fine folks at Audio Illusion did the work and they did a fantastic job. They also added additional sound deadening to the doors to reduce unwanted resonance/vibration. I needed something that wouldn't take too much room and luckily it turned out great. The Hertz branded speakers are quite nice as an upgrade with a big improvement in clarity.

How do you like the sub? Got any more pictures of it?

The sub is good. I needed something that was compact enough, but could be unplugged easily if needed to. It has an integrated amp but it's not boomy. It just adds enough bass to the Hertz speakers in the doors. Enough for the regular cab. I don't have any other pictures at the moment, but if I get more I will post them.

They are Energy's. They have a tweeter that is adjustable and the sound really improved after break in. It was "bright" initially.......it's all subjective but I was impressed with the build quality.

Congrats. The energy's are great budget speakers. The tweeters are a bit harsh but they do sound great and are light years ahead if infinity kappas everyone seems to like. If you ever have money burning a hole in your pockets the Energy 8" sub is a awesome little monster. Usually in pairs. And the Hi Energy and Mille line are my favorites. Hi Energy XL 6.5 with the Mille Tweeter is sex to your ears.

Hey Kilo, did you also replace the rear speakers on your regular cab? If so, do you know what size they are and how do you get to them?
