no disrespect but here is the link my friends http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...=features&id=0
like i said take it from having 4 diffrent boxes built and the last one just hit the makr right on .. alot of time went into designing the box for best db's and reverb .. to put it lightly i cant use and mirror in my truck since they bounce beyond seeing in them

Are you wired to four ohms? if you're at 2 (1500W), you're pushing like 250% of those sub's rated capacity.

http://www.supercrewsound.com/commer...Id=16&catId=58 this is something close to my box i dont know how t post a pic on here yet .. but i have dual folding buckets seats in the rear not a bench and part of my box rolls under the back seat slightly to give max airspace required and better db's im not blowing smoke i have spent some time researching and trying many diffrent set ups.. btw my 93 cobra took 3rd in the bass off here in tampa 2 times for best installation and design and took 3rd over all in comp ... "thank you divine sound" for all ur work

no i didnt pay for all 4 boxes only the one that i have now the other 3 were kind like hit and miss.. im runnning 4 ohm i belive .. i would have to look i didnt hook none of this up the shop did and tuned it .. im crossed over at the radio and at the amp .. but im going to say 4 ohm since i know its not bridged ... the gain is set between 1/2 and 1/4 way with the remote bass **** set at 1/2 trust me the truck rocks ... we are now working on a box that will hold 2 of either the pioneer 12's or a set of jl audio 12's.. box will take up all of the under seat and the full behind the seats down firing subs btw.. but i love these 10's i would have never thought pioneer would kick out something that crazy...

Just finished putting 6.5 comps in the doors and was wanting to build a box and put a sub under the rear seat for a little more bump. Could someone point me in the right direction as far as boxes and amps for a single sub? Not trying to rattle the doors off, but do need a little more. Thanks!
If you only what a little thump, I would go simple with a sealed box. And I would be looking for an amp around 500 watts so you don't have any voltage problems. My recommendation.

and a sub That's around 500 RMS Probly a 10" would be the easiest to fit.

I'm curious of what you ended up doing and would like to see a pic of it. I'm running a 8" shallow mount in a .35 box sealed under the 40% section of the rear seat. It works for filling in the lows but no major thumping. Like I said I would like to see what you came up with.
