Well for now I'll have my Type-R speakers being run by the stock HU and amp. Told the audio guys there to just stick the stock back in there, and we'll get the amp sorted out another day. Going to consider a different shop unless they can make heads or toes out of the processor/summing unit.

Good spot for the bass ****^^^
You will set up your eq and xovers on the bit ten software to your liking and to your speakers. I did this after I set my gains on my amps. It takes some time. ^^^

And why did you disconnect your center channel? Seen that a few times now and still don't understand why people are doing it.

Don't feel I need it for my front stage and I have no control over it through the bit ten for gain or xover. I also don't watch movies in the truck lol. You can leave it hooked up. I left it running off the factory sony amp for a while but just disconnected it one day. Never missed it so it stays that way.

So there's no particular reason other than that it's not needed? I mean, I might as well leave it plugged in then.

Try it plugged in and unplugged. Don't know about the 13's but it's really easy to get to on my 10. I like having control of my stereo and I also have some nice focals up front so the clarity of the stock speaker just wasn't up to par.

Ok well then I might unplug it, we'll see. I chose nice Alpine Type-R's.

No one will listen. But although the Audison is great. What works even better from tons and tons of research as well as extensive car audio experience is the Rockford 360.3 . This is info from reputable car audio forums. Not f150 forums where most people think the stock stereo is "just fine" . Also, there has got to be better shops near you..You're in South Carolina, it's like the home of Donks, and lowriders, and custom vehicles. I wouldn't give that shop one dime. The fact that they don't know anything about summing, or other rudimentary car audio tells me they really don't know ****. Sounds like the kind of place that will put your truck back together and have like 37 screws and clips left over that never went back in... No thanks.
