Hey Franchi, here's is my install on my 150XLT,and it mite give you a few ideas.Read the entire thread and P.M. me if you have any questions. Also with this head unit there is no reason to keep sync,BUT you can if you just have to.The reason i say that is it has bluetooth and COMPLETE ipod control where sync does not. Also by just adding the axxess steering wheel module all the controls work along with voice commands, and it even sounds like sync!! The only thing you will loose is the stuff you have to pay for with sync like the health report.ALSO for some killer prices and good service check techronics.com I guarantee they will smoke crutchfields prices.I am extremely happy with what i've went with, and the single 10'' sub i used is more than you'll ever need.It will also smoke that shaker system that's in your stang, and clear as a bell.I should tell you as well,i'm a Ford tech that's been at the same dealer for 30yrs and heard every system Ford has put out and none is close.https://www.f150forum.com/f30/finall...e-done-181820/

I should have also said i first just put the JL C5 components (5x7) in the doors and a-pillars,and they made an unreal difference in sound and volume. You may just want to try them first, and use coaxles in the back doors and components up front. For a nice amp to power the 4 door speakers the JL XD700/5 is what i'd go with to power the speakers and a sub.

Hey franchi, do not waste ur money on dynamat. Check out raamaudio. http://www.raamaudio.com/
I used this stuff and it's great. And u get so much more for less. Also like everybody else said, use crutchfield for specs and such, but check out sonicelectronix.com. That's where I bought my Focal's and amps. Much cheaper.

If you care only about low cost this is true. But if you want included extras, instructions and lifetime tech support then the extra cost may well be worth it.
