That may be your problem.. Speaker wire is never used as a power wire.. Back in my teen days i ran my remote from the radio.. Now i find other sources.. In your fuse block there should be a space available thats in the lower voltage range.. Thats where mine is.. No thump.. You need a turn on delay module...

Ok, I think I might have fixed it. I replaced the 16 gauge speaker wire that I was using as a remote turn on with a 20 gauge wire. So far the thump is pretty much non-existent. Thanks for the help guys!
