I highly recommend going with sundown sd-2 instead of w3

Sounds great for what I listen mostly 90's/Modern Rock and Metal. It is very musical and fast, plays relatively low and has good output. I have it powered by an old Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.1, I have gone through a few different Head Units and Speaker/Subs...but i keep hanging on to those PG amps.

The xenons were great amps. I believe they could also be modded to put out way more power than they were rated for

Yeah there is a 0-Ohm trick you can do, but in all honesty its not really needed, but it is fun to see what these amps can really push. My x400's birthsheet was nearly 500w which is perfect my a single sub setup like mine.

Be mindful that some subs are designed to be in a sealed enclosure only. Mine is one of those.
