So just a new wire from the output of the amp to the factory speaker wire...?

I'll have to cut the factory speaker wire as well correct?

I guess it will make more sense once you have everything in hand and start wiring

I plan on replacing the door speakers with Pioneer TS-G6845R. But I don't plan on pushing a lot of power.

no, you cur the wires coming out of the PAC unit. It has a plug on it that plugs into the trucks speaker wires

I prefer to run all new speaker wire. Unfortunately Ford made it difficult in my truck by terminating the door wiring at the body and having the door plug in to the body. There is nowhere to run wires through without drilling through that connector. Your truck may not have this issue. I understand it depends on where the truck was built, Dearborn trucks like mine having the plug, while Kansas City trucks don't. Do a search for the term "molex" here on the site and you should be able to find pictures of the plug so you can determine whether you have them or not.

Just FYI the stock speaker wire is sufficient to pass 50-75 watts. Anything more and i would look at running new wire

So you don't necessarily have to run new speaker wire. Just use the PAC to connect an amp, run your power and ground to the amp. and then you're done, unless you want to replace your factory speakers?
