Default Help! Amp Will Not Turn On!

so today I wired up everything, I have perfect voltage going to my kicker 600.1, a perfect ground..(Bolt going threw the floor for the back bench seat) and my remote wire is sending .25v to the amp from the head unit....on my amp it has 2 lights, power and protection....the power light is not comming on at all. I checked the voltage at the + terminal, 13 and change. check the ohms from the rear seat bolt to the frame, 0 ohms, perfect connection. once again, check the voltage from the remote wire, .25v. Im soo freaaking confused. I double checked the fuses on the amp, both are good. what am I missing? did I forget something or blow my amp? HELP

Try a different ground, something you know is good.

You've got a bad ground. Try grounding somewhere else and your problem will be solved.

I finally figured it out, I double checked my ground and it was fine....so i decided to completly re-trace my steps...I pulled up the plastic strip (looks like diamondplate kinda) along the edge of the cab and inspected the whole remote wire and BINGO! i noticed that it had a pinch in it that exposed the wires and would only make a good contact when you jiggle it. all works well now. thanks for the input guys
