I would love to have the bezel even without the camera plug.
My camera is aftermarket anyways.

I just installed the DNN991HD with maestro, F02 harness and the metra bezel and really don't like the metra bezel much.

Sell it without the camera adapter, I am sure there will be plenty buyers jumping on it, I know I would!

I really hope this comes out and allows for full Sync functionality with an aftermarket double-din headunit. The Metra kit is terrifyingly ugly and puts the controls in the wrong place.

I also dont understand the whole "Sync updates break our system" noise from Advent. What updates?! The F150 MyFord Sync Basic hasn't had an update since September of 2012!

The camera adaptor has nothing to do with the release timing. It's the tooling of the plastic bezel, all the ***** and buttons. When released it will come with camera adaptor and a harness to let you plug aftermarket sat tuner into OEM antenna. It will only support 7 inch 2 DIN compatible radio from Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer (no gauges, parking assist, or vehicle info with Pioneer though).

It will retain Sync completely, although the 4.2 inch screen will be removed from the vehicle entirely.

Best,

Best,

Question: will it work like factory, or will i have to pair my phone with Sync for hands free & with the aftermarket radio for music?

another question if you can answer it. I have a 2013 F150 and the video display for the backup camera is in the rear view mirror, will the kit allow for the backup camera to still be displayed in the rear view mirror along with being displayed in the new head unit?

You will have to wire it up yourself, just like the older trucks. Many posts about how to do this..

Any possibility of doing one in the fake aluminum finish for those of us who have that trim?
