I have a rear view back up camera in my 2014. I'm curious if typically the facia kits accommodate the connection or would I need to find a HU that specifically accepts a Ford connection?

Btw. Love this last design and provided the price point isn't ridiculous I'm 'in'.

The current kits will need to be tapped into the camera to work on the new HU. Not sure if the new one with Maestro will accommodate that

Since we will remove the 4.3 inch screen where the backup camera is shown (2013 it was in mirror, but many 2014 it is in the small screen) we are tooling a connector to grab the rear camera from the plug that went into the screen and give you yellow RCA output.

Cheers,

It's in tooling. We are hoping to ship it early in 2015. I will make a dedicated post about this when we are closer to launch.

Your fever must have stopped you from seeing the post right before yours.
