Default head unit

I just bought all the components to put in a 10 in sub, gotta love those black friday prices. Anyways I still have the factory head unit and I bought a converter box to make it RCA, I was wondering if this would work? Also, how do I get the factory head unit out? It is an 03 f150 super crew

Thanks

Rob

You put your fingers behind the large trim piece and pull it off. You have to get the U things to unlock it, then pull it out and disconnect the wiring harness.

Um, maybe best buy or any car audio store. Probably off the internet. If I still had mine I would let you borrow

Disconnect the wiring harness. There should be a clip and you just squeeze it together and pull.

A line out converter? If you do, you can take the 8 speaker wires and hook them up to to LOC. I think they are green, green/black, grey, grey/black, purple, purple/black, and I forgot the last color.

There should be these same colors on your wiring harness. If not, you could find manuals I'm sure. It's just connecting colors.
