Default HD Radio

Coming out of a FX4 with the touch screen, I now have a XLT with a few options.

I've noticed within the few months I've owned it that it has a lot of the options the FX4 had regarding the audio setup. It will read text messages, BT input...etc. The FX4 just had those options "wrapped" in a different interface.

My FX4 had HD radio option and I was amazed how different a few of the local stations sounded. My XLT sounds just as amazing on these channels but I can't find anywhere in the menu to turn on or off the HD radio feature, making me believe that it doesn't have it. Yet the channels sound great compared to the old analog signal.

I have the 4.2in screen, does anyone know whether it has HD radio option like the touch screen HU does??

Does it automatically select it when it's available??

If that's the case, I think it still sounds better than other trucks I've owned that didn't have HD either. Strange...

no hissing, popping, fading...static under power lines...etc..

It sounds clear as a CD to me
