So... No to HiJack this... but I have a question.

I think I can answer it in winISD, so maybe I'll fire up that program in a bit.

for my sub (RF P210S4), RF says .65 cuft. Driver is .024, so I need to build a box that's .674.
I decided to measure my old box, inside dimensions, and I came up with .9 cuft. Which is within the range, but bigger than I thought. Maybe I build it bigger 'cause it was so wide (and narrow). I had a good amount of polyfill in there.

What is the effect of building too big of a sealed box? Lack of internal pressure and correct dampening? I liked that sub alot. Sounded good, but I remember I did need to boost 40hz. So this time, build for .9 or my current design at .68? (again, I probably need to fireup winISD. I think I have another proggy too, LSD, that's even better than winISD. Or did uninstall that? LOL )

Higher output and ability to play lower as well.

May have to reduce power.

Could be muddy and lacking detail.

Worst case is a mechanical failure due to lack of suspension - think free air.

I would throw it in and play it - see how it sounds, do some eq'ing, you might be very happy. If its bottoming out then you may have to drop in size.
