harness adapter?
Hi guys. I have a 10 STX SC 4x2 with the stock Ford head unit. It is the single disk am/fm unit, no SINC, or Sony premium sound. I have up graded the factory speakers with Kenwood KFC 688ie three ways, good speakers.
I am lokeing at a Kenwood head unit at crutchfield and they say I need an adapter for the wiring harness, part # PAC CR2-FRD1. But when I look it up it says if I don't use it I'll lose features I don't even have, like factory amps. The adapter is 129.00 but if you buy it with the head unit it's 69.00. But I've seen other adapters for less than 20.00. Anyone got any
idea which way I should go? Thanks.

I used a (~$30), bluetooth integration harness for Ford 2003 and up. I recently used it on an install for a 2009 F150 with the Sync system to amplify the audio signals without cutting the factory wires. Here are some pictures of the harness.
