Just the way the radio is made. Why is it annoying? Do you drive from the back seat?

NO I DON'T, but I like to hear all the speakers not just the front. Why have 4 if you only hear 2. I know I can fade, but the way it is you have to fade to much.

Agree with the OP the rear speakers are weak. Debating on running them thru an amp just to balance them with the fronts.

while you're at it, just replace all of them and run an amp for both the front and back. much better sound. just running an amp for the rears would be a waste IMO.

Rear speakers are for the rear seat. You want your sound up front. Unless you are doing surround sound.

As it should be. Changing speakers won't balance sound front to back.
