Default Front speakers louder than rears

I have an 06 Scab XLT 4.6L and it has the can single disc regular bottom level HU in it. What is making the fronts so much louder than the rears? Both the fader and balance are in the middle. Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Since you want your sound stage in front of you not behind you. That being said, is the whole system factory. If you bought the truck used someone may have swapped out the front speakers. If the front speakers have a higher sensitivity than the rear speakers they will play louder at the same volume.

If it's all factory then I'm not sure. Unless the factory put speakers with different sensitivities in. But usually from factory they are the same all around.

Just the way Ford makes their radios.

My 13 is the same way, others have also made note of this same thing. It's normal.

You could adjust the front to rear fade to get more sound from the rear.

i know in my audiophile the front is componets and the rear is just 5x7, i installed new speakers and it went away. im guessing the rear had no tweeters, or if they did they were tuned down.

I replaced all four of them and the problem disappeared. Don't know what the deal was.
Sorry for the repeat post. The app told me the first one was a repost.
