Default Fox Box or Custom

I want to put a 10 inch sub under my 05 SCAB, the alpine SWS10D4 but if i only put one sub in then ill get the fox box. I like the look of the fox box, or Should i get 2 10's and build a custom box?

it really just depends on what you want, but if I were you, I would mainly look at the cost. How much is the single enclosure box compared to the dual enclosure? Also the price of 1 sub compared to 2 subs. I've always been told going from 1 sub to a 2 sub setup, usually will only add a couple of dbs of bass, like if a 1 sub setup is putting out 25 dbs, adding another sub might put out 30 dbs or so , with both subs. Again, though, this too will depend on what amp(s), enclosure, subs, and even location of subs, and after taking all that into consideration, also, do you want to lose all your storage under the rear seat too? just some things to think about, personally the last few systems I've had have been a single 10" system, mainly bc of cost and space in the vehicle, if you have a decent sub, 10 inch subs are better in my opinion if you listen to a variety of music. Hope this helps

I had one 10" in my 2011 SCab and it was more than enough

i went with the fox box in my 07 screw, i like the way it fits under the seat and it sounds pretty good, i went the cheep route with a sub and bought the new alpine bassline 10", but i like the whole setup overall, just my $.02

I have a single 10 JL sub in a fox box in my 2012 super crew. Have been very pleased with the sound quality as well as the build of the box. Price was good too.

This is the box I went with. One Kicker 12" DVC running at 1 ohm with an MTX 1200 watt mono amp. Great sound
