My tracking number still says "initiated".... I just got my sonicelectronix and Techronics orders today..... I was gonna ask you the same thing... It seems as though our tracking numbers are still labels that aren't on a truck attached to boxes heading to our doors.... Mine says scheduled for delivery tomorrow the 18th, so if I don't see it tomorrow then I'm giving Joe a call...
So for now my system install has grinded to a halt....
On top of that crap my EDGE CS just took a dump and died randomly. Now edge is shipping me a new one out overnight. + my custom tunes are ready at PHP and now need to be re-sent with my soon to be new serial # ..... Theres never a dull FuEUR;(nG moment over here...

JL 10w3v3 4ohm
SSL 1600 watt 2 chan Amp
.5 FARAD Cap I'm probably not gonna use cause it's almost pointless, and just more that can go wrong...

Well fedex was nice and decided to come pretty early so I got everything installed. I used alpine type s dvc's wired to 2 ohms to a hifonics hfi1000.1d amp. It's loud. Really loud...sounds great with rap...but of course that's not what I listen to. Played around with the amp for a bit and I got it sounding pretty good to my tastes. I'm still on the stock radio using the pac frd24 to connect the amp, so I'm sure if I had a good aftermarket radio it would sound better, but I like it so far. Fits great and is very well built.

Hey man, looks great... as for the sound, Ive been using mine off the stock radio for a while... If your subs are new, it will take a little bit for the spider in the sub to loosen up a bit. Once the subs have been broken in (a couple wks to a month), re tune your amp again (probably be able to turn up the gain a bit) and it will sound soooooo much better. I liked my setup when I first installed it, but after a couple months I was able to crank the gain with little to no distortion at higher volumes. Now I am blown away and I only have a single 10:-) Just give the subs a little while to loosen up and you will be extremly satisfied even with the stock head unit

I agree with Clementi. I put my single 10 in this weekend. You really have to watch the level adjustments on the PAC. They are turned up high. With a little adjusting on the amp level and boost control you can get a real nice bass sound. Another thing is to keep the crossover on the amp down to 100. I am very happy with the stock HU and aftermarket speakers.

Damn! That enclosure looks solid! That fit looks great too!...you got a very clean looking setup there sixsix...
Im still waiting on my foxbox, it should be here tomorrow.
Did Joe send you any screws to mount the sub with the box?
What is the biggest gauge speaker wire the box terminals will accept?
Did you use a female crimp connecter to connect the sub wires to the box?

No screws to mount the subs...my subs didn't come with any either. The speaker terminal is not mounted to the box, so you have to mount that...it did come with screws tho, but it didn't come with any connectors to attach the speaker wire to it. I had some laying around so I was good with that. I used 12 gauge speaker wire. And beware when you open the box...there was about 50million packing peanuts in the box. He stapled cardboard over the port and speaker hole so none got in the sub box, but I made a mess trying to get the sub box out of the shipping box.

From what I can remember, this box sounds better than the 2 jl 10w1v2's in a sealed box that I had in my 09 crew. I'm very surprised at the punch it has for a ported box.

I really like the look of that foxbox and am considering doing the same setup in my 2010 Screw. Based on the last pictures you posted it looks like it might make it a little harder to get in and out of the back seat, is this true?
