I have a analog voltage meter and it doesn't get below 13 but ill check it at the amp exactly tomorrow. And if so I will look into a big 3 upgrade just don't know if I can really trust the shops around here. I know back home I can just not too many sound places here.

Thats so cool to see that map! So helpful! Minus the fact the closest place is 2 hours away from me I will just wait till I go home for winter break and will leave the gains lower for now.

I tried to tune by ear but couldn't tell a difference from no gain to full gain. I really am not a fan of this amp at all. It has overheated before on me multiple times and has just been a problem child in general. I do want to replace it just not in the budget currently.

Damn I wish I was capable of building **** like this, lol. I work on multi million dollar jets, the highest, most prestigious brand money can buy, but I can't even build a damn square box, lol.

The little Crescendo Symphony 1500.1's are right at $300 if you need a small footprint when budget allows. Might be picking one up myself because my Sundown SAZ-2000D is a biggggg amp for a small below the seat space.

You might just be able to rent a SMD DD-1, I remember a good while back a topic on SMD arose about tool rentals from Droppin HZ Car Audio, http://www.droppinhzcaraudio.com/ possibly beginning to rent out tools. I think it was $60 deposit, and 1 week rental for like $20, deposit returned in full once device has been recieved by droppinhz. Might be worth a call to check it out.
