Actually, the base model upgrade kit is $499 for forum members if purchased through me directly. The upgrade kit for the 13-14 4.2 and 8 inch touch screens is $425 if purchased directly through me. When I first started this thread, I didn’t even have the base model kits available. The only ones I had were for the 4.2 and 8 inch screens and they were $450 at that time. I’ve tried to edit the title but it won’t let me.
The reason why my Canadian customers have to purchase through ebay is because it would cost more than the product itself to ship to Canada. Ebay has a global shipping program that makes it WAY cheaper to ship for the both of us.
Why is my ebay listing $50 more than my forum listing? Ebay and paypal fees combined are $58 so I actually lose more profit when selling through ebay. So, you buying through ebay is the only way I can sell to my Canadian customers.

Ho Lee Hell. The power stage upgrade is one of the best mods I have done by far. This system is freaking amazing. No more pitiful sound, crisp clear highs and mids, amazing bass from that little 10. The install was nothing short of delightful, all plug and play and perfect. Took an hour for amp wiring and sub, another hour for the 4 door speakers. Highly highly recommended.

Will the speakers only (kicker speakers) work/be plug and play for the "base" stereo (the one that in the OP) is listed as "last" that the kit "won't work" on.
Have a SC 2013 5.0 with sync but base (no nav, touch screen, etc). I have already upgrade the base stereo to a Pioneer NEX unit but would like to improve the quality of sound.
