Focal Speakers - Which ones??

Well, 6x8 is the standard size but it has a tweeter separate on my model. All the Focal Component sets are 5 1/4 with the tweeter. I do not see a 6x8 Focal or many 6x8's with tweeter. I'm not sure if the 6 3/4 fits in my model, Crutchfield says no.
There is a 5x7 with tweeter setup with Focal, but it's lower end. From what I've seen the standard front component set is 5 1/4 + Tweeter. I'm an audiophile enthusiast, not an actual engineer but I've also heard the round shape sounds better than the oval. I have 0 facts or links to back that up though. LOL

Is your configuration in the front doors the same?

I very highly urge you to go to a local audio shop and listen to the speakers instead of asking everyone what they think. Some like super loud and sharp tones compared to others who like a full well rounded sound. Everyone likes different things so do yourself the favor of listening to what you like best before making a purchase. I can't tell you how many times people buy something due to a review and reject the purchase and spends double to get what they actually want.

I just put some Focal K2 Power 165KR in my 15 supercrew. Pure Awesome!! Best sound I've heard in a vehicle. The crossovers have some adjustability too, so I could tone down the tweets. if you can get them for 499.99 worth every penny (regular price 899.99)

Sounds like I'm too late, but if you're going with an EQ then you could have saved a bunch of money and gone with something less expensive but still good quality. An EQ and time with an RTA can make even the worst speakers sound alright.

I've heard that but my theory is that how much better will it sound with amazing speakers too!

I've heard systems with top of the line parts sounding like crap. Using proper tools/equipment makes a system sound great.

I think you'll be very happy with your Focals. I ran a K2 set a long time ago and they were some of my favorite speakers. They can be a little too sibilant, but they can also be tuned down on the EQ. I recommend giving them a test run and deciding where you want that switch prior to install...unless it'll be easily accessible. The EQ will also help tune that out, if you wish, but Focal knew what they were targeting with the on board EQ switch and it worked well. I kept mine at -3dB and didn't have to do much on the high end with my 30 band EQ when tuning time came.
I can't stress the importance of proper install, like the other guys mentioned. You have top end speakers...treat them as such. Spend time researching install techniques and read up on what others, even in different cars, have done with your speakers. Use sound processing, but it's not a crutch. A proper install will get you the 90% solution, and the processor will do the rest. Door deadening, proper phase adjustment (both speakers hooked positive to positive is not always the right answer, due to path-length differences), killing reflections with carpet (not always practical, but it really helps), and other install tricks will help a lot.
Good luck with your install...I need to put my Morels in.

I heard these in a local store prior to purchasing, I think they sounded fantastic in that less than ideal environment. Of course the $800-1k ones sounded better, but that is a slippery slope! Thanks for all the feedback too, it is appreciated. It sounds like you appreciate good audio. Get those Morels in!

When I auditioned Focals back in the day, I actually liked the K2Ps over the Utopia line. They seemed to have more midbass authority and didn't really sacrifice the airy mids that Focal does so well. I'm sure some people will disagree with me, but my ears weren't good enough to tell.
