Default Focal Speakers - Which ones??

I am planning a speaker and DSP upgrade in my current 16 Screw non/sony.

For front speakers I want Focal. Crutchfield has a few sales going on right now on various models and I'm curious anyone's opinion who may have owned/heard any of these.

Focal Performance PS 165V $299....i like the idea of these, pricepoint and good reviewsd. They were much more expensive. Rep said the V and V1 are almost identical.

Focal K2 Power 165KR $499...these are like 2 version old now, but still amazing? WAY better than the V's above?

Focal Performance PS 165F Outlet $469...newest of the bunch.

I understand this is all subjective and the best way to decide is to hear them all. BUT, with that being said...what do you think?

Focal K2 Power 165KR. K2 series is just below the flagship Utopia range from Focal and is highly rated.

Subbing this thread, I am also leaning heavily to the Focal for my build coming up. I am also looking at the Focal 4-channel amp for the front/rear as well. What are your plans, if any, for the amplifier?

My plans for the amp focus around involving a DSP too. I will then have an installer tune the system for the best overall EQ. I have never done this before, but from what I hear it can take the SQ to a whole new level when dealing with stock head units like in my Screw. I was looking at the upcoming AudioControl D-8.400 amp/dsp combo. Im sure a Focal amp will be quality though.

I don't know the model but I picked up a pair of components for the front on a Black Friday for about $300. They sound amazing with the jl pushing them.

Well, 6x8 is the standard size but it has a tweeter separate on my model. All the Focal Component sets are 5 1/4 with the tweeter. I do not see a 6x8 Focal or many 6x8's with tweeter. I'm not sure if the 6 3/4 fits in my model, Crutchfield says no.

There is a 5x7 with tweeter setup with Focal, but it's lower end. From what I've seen the standard front component set is 5 1/4 + Tweeter. I'm an audiophile enthusiast, not an actual engineer but I've also heard the round shape sounds better than the oval. I have 0 facts or links to back that up though. LOL

Is your configuration in the front doors the same?
