I just found another smaller grommet in the passenger side door sill and it looks like this is an easier way to run the wire, zip-tying it to the frame. It seems easier but will require more wire since the path is longer.
Save the time and aggrivation and go thrugh the spot I mentioned previously!

Toddman is correct. Use the large rubber grommet. I cut a small slit in it and fish a coat hanger thru it. Never a leak or moisture

Yes, I installed mine this exact way! No issues with water or moisture, you can put a dab of silicone near it, if your worried!

Cut a small slit in the rubber nipple at the top of the gromet. Cable will feed thru easily using cable/wire lube or equivalent.
