I'm just starting my install and I was wondering what you did about the bottom of your amp boards?
There's raised areas towards the top to screw into but the bottom half of the back wall goes right to the outside...

speakers = 149/pair x 2
3sixty.1 = 165
jl amp = 180
mdf board = 22

Thats all that is installed so far. I have been working so much lately that i haven't had really any time to work on the sub. I got the cardboard model of my box build, just need to make it out of the mdf now...

Wow! thats a great price on all of that stuff. I just did some searching for that RF 3sixty .1 (only looked two places) but couldn't find it for less that $300. Where did you find it for $165. I had a nice stereo in my last truck and I took it all out when my truck got totaled but want to keep the factory head unit this time.

Also, where did you run your power wire? Did you find any holes in the firewall or run it through the floor or what?

I got the 3sixty on ebay, new, saw them from the lowest being 165 (had to win on bid, they were 185 buy it now, was going to buy another if i had lost on the bidding one). For the power wire, I ran it over the wheel well, and actually UNDER the truck, i wrapped it in the hard plastic stuff other wires are wrapped in, and ran it through the braces along the edge of the body, zip tie it down where there are holes. Close to the rear of the back door, under the b-pillar, is a rubber grommet that goes into the cab, i took off this grommet, cut out just enough to squeeze the wire through, and installed the grommet back. Was very easy, i worked on firewall shortly, but found this and it was just as easy, though i did purchase the extra plastic to cover after running it...

You should be able to get the 3sixty.2 for $300. They don't make the .1 any longer.
I just purchased a new 3sixty.2 on ebay for $320.
The main difference is the 2 has crossovers for the speakers and more EQ options.

Awesome that sounds really easy. My only problem now is that I have a SuperCab not a CrewCab and I don't think the seats fold down? I am sure there is still a way to do it though. Am I mistaken and it is actually the same for the Super as the Crew?

Oh one other question...Do you get any heat problems with there being limited air flow behind the seat? After playing for a few hours at even just a moderate level my amp, at least I think, would over heat and then it would shut off and I'd have to wait a few minutes to turn it back on. Maybe the amp just couldn't handle the load for that long but its a pretty strong amp and at the time was only powering one sub at zero gain and two speakers...
