Sorry...forget to reply the question of harness! The harness is just design to fit the original plug and port,just plug and play,no need to cut the original wire,this is our testing result,but still waiting for the new tester to show us the result,thanks!

Who does your mapping on the navigation for your unit? Also can it updated to keep the maps current?
