Default Finally got mine done!

I've been adding a piece at a time, and finally got it done.I first added the Jl Audio C5 components to the doors and a-pillars,then installed a Jl HD500/3 amp under the pass. seat (regular cab)along with a JL 10W1V2-4 sub and box, then this past weekend installed my Pioneer AVIC Z 140BH indash nav.I did have Sync, but this unit does EVERYTHING that i used Sync for so i didn't bother hooking it back up.I did use the Axxess steering wheel module, and i was very impressed with the ease of install and programming.I also used a bezel for a 150XL with the base radio which is a double din,so it had the same texture as my XLT.Here are a few pics of the finished product.

awesome.

hows that sub? im going to be in the market for some new ones soon here. i had a set of 12" jls in a ported box sitting on my back seat for sometime. got sick and tired of it taking up the space and hitting the seat when i stopped lol.

now that i took it out i miss the sound quality. might have to go a bit smaller or just get a single 12 and try to hide it somewhere.

I really like the W1. In my regular cab this system really sounds nice, and will crank pretty loudly.I was really looking hard at the Alpine INE Z928HD,but i've had really good luck with the Pioneers so i decided to go with it and save a few $$.

I don't think you would go wrong! I personally think they have some of the best stuff out there.

Nice! Do you happen to have the part number for that radio bezel?

Yes i do.It's 9L3Z1504302AB. Now let me add there is a slight difference in size between this and the stock bezel.Basicly it's about 1/2" taller, but can be used with a little rework of the stock display bezel at the top. What you have to do is cut a small section out of the bottom of the stock display bezel because the "higher" placement of the hazard/traction control/pass.air bag switch hits the bezel. Then because the 2 top radio bezel screw tabs are higher, you have to make a couple of small spacers to go between the 2 bezels, and 2 longer screws. When your done with that turn the rubber mat that lays on top of the bezel upside down and trim the front edge of it off where you see the line going across the front of the mat.(about 1/8")With the indention on the bottom of the mat it makes it very easy to trim, and it's dead-nuts accurate. You will still be able to see the upper display with no problem, and nobody can tell it's not supposed to fit.

Looks like you had to use the metra trim panel around the pioneer radio also?

Actually it's a Scosche FD1432AB single or double din kit.
