FINALLY A BOX FOR L5's and L7's!!!
Hey guys, so ive finally found a company who can do a custom box for our trucks to be able to handle a kicker square sub(s). You will have to call them to discuss where you want the placement and amount of airspace but they have a top of the line c&c that can do pretty much anything. and their prices arn't that bad at all. I was kind of the test dummy and introduced them to the design to be able to equip their boxes for kickers. if you go to www.audioboxesonline.com My custom box is front page (with the fox racing head) the guy behind it all is named Matt and he is very helpful and can do pretty much any custom engraving or design you want. I will post pics of the install soon. any questions, hit me up

well...at the time, I'm a little under-powered, Im only running the kicker 600.1 to it....I origionally had that combo in my ford focus (yea yea laugh it up) in a vented box and I was more than happy with it. I have yet to hook the sub and amp up in my truck because I have not yet decided on a head unit or speakers. I figure If Im gonna drop in a decent amount of money on this...might as well do it right ya know?

Yes, they will engrave whatever you want in it, words, pictures (to a degree), w/e. you said you want to run 2 w7's? I origionally wanted to do two L7's but It just wouldnt add up...physical space and airspace. the program they use can actually adjust the airspace to whatever you want...you can also get most of their boxes vented or ported and tuned...but not on my style.

well you can go two ways with that, they offer a finished version like I have and a unfinished...the unfinished comes with all the pre-cut pieces and hole cutouts and does not have that rhino lining type coating...just mdf. that is I believe 35 to 40 dollars cheaper. (you will have to do minor trimming and sanding.) but my box, delivered came out to 220. not a bad for custom engraving, custom airspace volume for what I want, protected coating, and just an overall good quality product.
