Ok, skip the "Having the shop install it" part, i just completed the install. Took me about 2 hours total, front and back. It's a HUGE improvement, it sounds great. However, i have no idea about the factory wire polarity so i might have hooked the speakers up wrong. I'm getting "some" bass, but i thought it would be more. Then again, my expectations may have been too high.
The actual install was a breeze, especially the rear speakers. Taking the door panels off was ridiculously easy and getting them back on didn't take much effort either. Everything worked great and i'm GLAD i did it myself. If i find a way to determine the factory wire polarity i might just take it all apart again and hook it up right. But for now, it sounds fine. I am going for a subwoofer sometime in the future, it'll probably be the kicker Solo Baric series, or the Pioneer Champion series. We shall see!
