Default Fake engine noise question?

Hey guys I'm upgrading my system on Tuesday my question is how does the fake engine, door chime, navi, etc. sound with a aftermarket amplifier connected to speakers? If it doesn't sound bad then I would rather leave it but if does I want to tell the installer if they can disconnect it. Btw I have a 16 Platinum.

They can disable the fake engine sound, it is very noticeable when you have an aftermarket amp. Door chimes and navi all sound normal - just a word of caution disabling those shouldn't be in question you want to make sure your installer is tapping the signal AFTER the Sony amp.

You don't have to worry about it because you have a V8 its just for some of us who have the ecoboost engine, it gives us the V8 sound when we get on the throttle.

Yours is real.' Lol.
The 3.5 and 2.7 Eco have fake engine noises pumped through the Steele speakers to make passengers believe the engine sounds beefier than it is.

Its for those with small ***** who feel the need to have a loud rumble from their truck if they bought the V6 engines.

Me, I'm older and my ***** hang down low so I was more interested in the cooled seats!

Is this on all models - or those with the Sony system?
