Are you trying to replace the tweeters only?

Yes, it's the last piece to my system upgrade. Just don't know the impedance of the stock tweeters.

Why didn't you just upgrade components in the front? To answer your question I'm sure you'd be safe with 4 ohm.

Would you have the wiring harness diagram. I need it to tap all the spkr leads to a LC6i arriving today.

Thanks

8 ohm in case anyone is wondering. Both the tweeters have a green wire ( ground ) and red wire ( power left side) and Purple wire ( power right side).

Left (Drivers Side)
Red ( + )
Green ( - )

Right (Pass Side)
Purple ( + )
Green ( - )

Do you know if the NON sony HU passes a full range signal to the fronts OR rear spkrs ?

I have factory tweeters up front but did not incl these in the new wiring I ran back to the LC-6. I have an LC-6 and only ran fr and rear wiring back to the LC-6 so I only have 2 new sets of wiring coming back to the fronts. I dont know if the new Alpine components will work right this way.

HOw did you do it ?

I could sum the channels on the LC-6 but how can I verify the freq for tweeters are reaching the back ?

Thanks for any help ... TOM
