Factory Subwoofer details ?
What is the Ford factory subwoofer used in the 2012 f150's? My truck doesn't have one, but I was wondering if the part at fordparts.com was worth buying? I was planning on upgrading EVERYTHING in the truck with Focal. K2 power, but can't find a factory fit enclosure that will fit their subs. Mounting depth is too high.
I want to keep everything as discreet as possible. Probably use a JL audio or Alpine sound processor on the Factory HU.

Go with either a pre-made or custom box under the rear seat with shallow mount subs. Alpine, JL, Pioneer all have options for you. Im running 3 Pioneer 12" ibFlats in a custom box and couldn't be happier...unless of course I had some Stereo Integrity's.
