Stelath style sub boxes
I am looking for reviews on the MTX ThunderForm stealth box and a JL Audio Stealth Box. Crutchfield is only showing the MTX, Im not sure why they do not have the Jl audio yet, but does anyone has either? The MTX appears to be a lot cheaper...and I am not looking for major bass, just a little extra kick. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Check out jlaudio.com they have a closeout section right now with some f150 sealed stealthboxes for really cheap. The stealthbox and the thunderforms are night and day different....you get what you pay for. Oh and jlaudio.com is the same price as crutchfield on such items...so you can just buy direct from jl.

I have the q-logic box. Rockford sells the "saleen" kit on their ebay site for about $200. I got it and ripped out the saleen/rockford stuff and put in my own sub and amp.
I ended up using a Pioneer flat 10in and Dual(it runs for now) amp.

Depending on what you're looking to do, Supercrewsound.com also makes custom boxes for F150's. They also have a 100% fit gaurentee. If it does not fit then they will pay you back 100% and even pay to have it shipped back. You also have a carpet color option that you can choose for an extra 10 bucks. the standard gray is free. You also let them know which subs you are using so they make sure that the box is right for them. And they build to your specs, tell them what sub/subs you're using and they make sure the sub specs and box specs match. You have your choice of single or dual 8''-12''. Hope this info may help, and it's JUST THE BOX, then you pick your subs and amp. And I believe they have some choices but you can also get those through your local audio store. Good luck!

I have a jl stealth box in my 2011 screw and love it, not saying it is the best choice for everyone. I happen to get a good deal on a jl hd600/4 and hd750/1. I wanted the loudest system I could while trying not to give up room and keep a factory look.

Check out the wedge boxes by JL. Single 6.5, single 8, or dual 8. I went dual 8 and it's way more bass than I need, but nice to have. Box six under the back seat, no mods needed. If you put it in the middle and can barely be seen from the sides and doesn't even come out to the edge of the seat. Stealth enough for me. Plus super easy to remove if you need the floor.
